I searched the site and found some discussion about seat belts — I wonder if anyone with a Chevette based CMC – Fiberfab frame has pictures of how they mounted the outboard belts.  Did you go through the frame under the floor or the angle behind the seat?  If you used the frame behind the seat — did you extend it outboard? ( it is well inboard of the outboard side of the seats) .   Thanks, bill

Bill I put belts in my TD I think all must be the same i have a chevette also the belts came with a large round washer  4″  for lack of a better discretion ,,I added a flat steel metal piece across the bottom frame to frame /to make my wife happy /I personally don’t think belts on a vehicle like these serve any ,but a FALSE sense of security   …Dan

Thanks Dan  — do you have pictures?

I use seat belts to hold me into position so I can control the car ( just as I did in aircraft) It does not likely help much in a teeth, hair and eye balls crash.

I am parting out a 1981 Chevette if you should need the seat belts.
