Can the steering mechanism be adjusted? When my wheels are straight ahead the steering wheel is slanted about 30 degrees from horizontal. The mounting screws are spaced in such a manner that if I tried to rotate the steering wheel to get it straight it would be crooked in the other direction. See embedded photo.
There is almost no “slop” in the steering and I can’t see where it might be adjusted.
Mike, You just pop off the wheel hub and rotate it on the splines until you are straight. Not very hard. Just remove the steering wheel and remove the large nut – pull off the hub and do above
Let me add my thanks, as well. My wheel is just slightly off — maybe 5 degrees — but it’s one of those little things that can keep me from enjoying the scenery if I let it. Problem solved! 😀
