Still need help

I’ve followed several wiring schematics for my alternator. I’ve completely wired everything from the ignition switch to the alt. but have not been able to get the alt. to charge. Its new with an internal regulator. I did however stop the run-on problem.

  Richard , the only thing you may have over looked may be  the ground ? I had to add a ground strap she was only grounded with 1  .the alt should be wired to the amp gauge first than amp. gauge  to the switch but not at the switch but to the power box  {fuse box} I think it is  a 8 or 10 gauge wire,, it should all  be wired with 8 or 10 guage
