Found this pic on Pinterest, with no other info. Looks like it may have begun life as an early FiberFab, which came with a molded grill shell -:the chrome MG shell was an option and had to be modified to fit. But, the FF didn’t come with the base flange for the windshield frame, so I’m not sure what it is…
Different, clean look – for a rod!
Early FF TDr on 69 VW pan
Slowly coming back from the ashes...
The windshield, molded grill, hood hinges on the passenger side, bench seat, headlight mount and dash layout (compleat with a barn door grab bar) make it look like a bare bones Daytona Migi was the father. Obviously, the result a one night stand which did alright for itself after starting so far back in the pack. I kinda like it. 🙂 Royal2015-12-31 21:43:24
Don’t forget that Daytona’s and FF’s were made in Holly Hill Florida plants that were separated by about 100yds, and Daytona coined the Migi name which FF “stole”. Daytona and early FF’s are very nearly identical. (So, it might well be an early FF.) Royal2015-12-31 21:53:01
