I will try to explain this the best that I can . Today I decided to change the oil and screen . I put the car on jacks drained the oil removed 6 nuts. 3 of the nuts came off easy . 2 of the nuts with studs
came out. 1 the stud will not come out however it will screw in.It needs to be a little longer to get the nut on. Any thoughtsSounds as if the threads closest to the edge of the case are buggered up. Try two nuts tightened against each other and back the stud out. Then clean the hole threads with Naptha using a q-tip and clean the stud. Apply some lock-tight (red kind) and tread it in and let it set over night. had to do that with the stud I was missing.
