Vin #

My Fiberfab CMC chevette kit came with a brass plate with a FM vin #. Does anyone know where the suggested mounting location for this is? I’ve seen various places where they have been placed, but was curious where the company suggested to place them. The DMV had a suggestion, but I didnt like it.

The state of CT posted the state assigned VIN to the driver’s side door jam about midway between the hinges on my BCW Chevette based car.

On Angelica it’s mounted in the “firewall” over the steering column hole.

I bought an MGTD VIN plate from Moss Motors and plan to get the CT VIN engraved on it and then mount it in the firewall.
