Terry owns a TD2000.
Per Terry, the TD2000 was factory hand-built and sold as new cars. They were not marketed in the USA due to our air bag requirements (Editors note: although I do recall seeing them in the manufacturers’ building at Carlisle a number of years ago).
Terry’s green car is a 1997 Aussie build and has a 2 litre Nissan twin-spark engine (two coils/8 plugs).
The cream & burgundy car was built in Malaysia in 2004 and has a Toyota 2 litre double overhead cam 16 valve engine with fuel injection, electronic ignition and a Toyota Celica 5 speed.

Welcome, Terry. I remember looking at those cars online a number of years ago. They sure do look nice.

just posting a little more info and pictures of the TD2000 cars in Australia.
There would be about 100 TD2000 cars in AU, about 76 recorded in the TD2000 owners group.
This group has a Facebook site – (use capital TD ) TD2000ownersgroup
Our car owner group get together once annually ( about 20 cars ) for a cruise together.
Today I will post a couple of pics of our Replica TD cars out driving together, it’s always well planed ahead over 2 days with stops at wineries and other tourist places.
( still having issues on site to post photo’s )?
