The first time I used my windshield wipers I was disappointed to find that they left a large part of the left side untouched. This is in an important part of the driver’s vision to the front left quarter, especially when turning. At first I chalked it up to the legendary poor quality of older cars wipers. Later, after looking at pictures of other TDr’s member rides, I realized that my wipers were installed ” backwards”, that is they pointed to the right when parked and could never reach the lower left portion of the windshield. Pulled off, rotated 180, reinstalled, problem solved.
The moral of the story is, once again, never take anything about your second-hand car for granted. 🙂
