Windshield Wipers help??

So in my slightly over a year of owning my TDr so far I have not been able to figure out a good way to have windshield wipers on my VW kit. I had some on for a little while but I had to do a bunch of modifications both to the arms and even the blades (one I left 10″ but the other I had to cut down and weld shorter so it would fit on the windshield when it was flat in the “off” position)

The spots for the shafts (I don’t know what you would call that, a divot??) aren’t even at the same angle as my windshield and a good 4 or 5 inches away, none of which helps anything.

The driver side also got in the way of seeing my fender mirror so I took the wipers off over the summer.

So I am wondering what kind of setups you guys have? Any photos you have would be awesome!! 

Here are a few pictures of my setup to compare. (Note the wiper arms are bent the wrong way as I was thinking of having them lay flat towards the passenger side, but that won’t work due to the position the wiper motor shuts off at…)

Try this wiper arm. It’s adjustable for length and the blade end can be rotated.
