Depends on whether it is epoxy or polyester resin. Epoxy is much more resilient to solvents. Methanol should be good on both but acetone may well dissolve polyester so try it on a bit that doesn’t matter to start with. I have a TD on a Ford frame and the springs are too hard for me. The front weight is 850 pounds on the double wishbone setup. The original was probably around 1050 pounds. Any idea what the rating should be to soften these a bit?

Hi. I am a newcomer from UK with a Miami built RHD TD. Pretty good condition but needs a fair
