    @bailey

    How much does the type tires on the VW TD make in handleing?  I have always had radials on my other TDs but the one I just bought has tires with a flat tread.  It seems to want to follow ridges in the road and wander more than the others.  Does the rounded profile of the radial make the car handle better??  The front end is tight so I think it might be in the type tires.

    I had bias ply tires on my car when I first built it. The car would follow every ridge it could find.

    Swapping the bias ply for radials made all the difference in the world.

    The steering was a bit easier. But it was not a huge difference.
