    @montie

    There’s a red kit on craiglist in Cincinnati, Oh.. $5200.. I think it’s the same Ford kit he had for sale a couple years ago when I bought mine.  Montie

    Montie, can you post the direct link?  — Nevermind.  I failed to see when the original post was made.

    Thanks,

    Mark,

    Are you trying to get a Ford too.  I thought you just bought that one with the “rocket 283”.

    Hi Montie,

    No, I think I’m done collecting for a while, but I still like to look.  The 1964 rebuilt Chevy 283 is more horsepower than I have in my modern Honda S2000.  It comes with a Chevy Turbo 400 automatic transmission (It’s a major no-no in my book) – roadsters should be manual but I’ll play with this one for a while as is, and supposedly a rear end from a Nissan 260Z along with disc brakes.  I’m not too keen on the exposed engine cover side walls to show off the chrome valve covers, so I’ll look into getting something to fill in those “holes”.

    I’m considering replacing the 1600cc VW engine in my London Roadster with an 1835 dual carbs
