I’m not sure if it is my failing hearing, or eyesight or the engine noise or just the wind whipping around (or possibly the pretty girl that just waved) but I often forget to turn my blinkers off.

So, I got this idea that if I could hear the blinker, I would be reminded and perhaps safer.  Radio Shack sells these small buzzers for about $4 each.  Get two and hook one up to each side and it buzzes at the same time that the blinker flashes.  I hooked mine up to the little left and right side lights on the dash.  Hide them under the dash.  Pretty loud and annoying.  Just right.

Totally you should rig them so they both buzz when you exceed 5200 rpm!

Great idea. I was always forgetting to turn off the turn signals on my 55 pickup.

Roy, they do make extra loud flashers you could just plug right in.

Just one example…supposed to be 5 times louder than standard flasher.
