    Reaffirms my suspicions about the fitment of the engine lid on early FF kits.  I think it is impossible to get the engine lid to fit flush with both the back of the tub and the splashpan…

    Also on the later model FF kits, the engine lid latches are on the side of the lid near the rear edge as opposed to behind the engine lid as pictured here.

    I like that one. Dig the color scheme. Nice steering wheel. looks pretty presentable. (Take those hubcaps off though)

    Yeah, the engine cover alignment was being discussed in another thread.

     

    I like that my Duchess’s engine cover fits flush to the splash pan and the rear of the body.

     

    But the early FF is probably more accurate. On an original, there is a space there, with the bottom of the tank angling up towards the front.

    Yeah, makes sense when you think about what the tank is doing there…

    Can anyone else see the glaring assembly error on this one?

    You mean the rear splash pan being about4 inches to far back?
