Hi gang,
I learned more about our forum software today.Have you ever tried to acccess tdreplica.com on your mobile device? I have. It’s doable, but it is NOT very user friendly. Here’s how to use the TD forum on your mobile phone.Instead of going to http://www.tdreplica.com, go to the forum’s full url, which is:The forum site should recognize that you are on a mobile device and switch to mobile mode. If it does not, scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen where it says:View in: Mobile | ClassicSelect Mobile. The forum content will dynamically fit itself to your device screen. You lose the sidebar links from the tdreplica home page. But you have full forum access.Paul Mossberg

May 21, 2014 at 7:30 pm #260433Back on a computer….
Bill,
I opened this thread on my phone and clicked “reply.”
On my iPhone, I see two tree icons, one with an arrow on it. The tree alone is for a picture already stored and accessible on line. The tree with the arrow is to upload a picture that is stored on your phone.
The picture of my car was on my iPhone.
I clicked the tree/arrow icon, got a site that had a browse button.
Clicking browse launched the native iPhone photo select screen (i.e.: options to choose existing or take a new photo). I selected the picture and was returned to the forum site. I clicked ok and got a message from the site that the photo was being uploaded.
Then (oddly) I had to click “cancel” to return to the post reply.
I typed in some text and hit reply. And lo and behold…the picture is loaded and in the reply.

May 21, 2014 at 7:42 pm #260434Every time I try to upload a photo, I’m told I have already uploaded a photo with the same file name. As I can’t change a photo file name on my phone I simply stopped trying.

Seems you can only do one pic from a phone. I’ll keep poking around and see if I can figure the out.Paul Mossberg
