Out for a drive , oil pressure 50 psi, stopped ,went to a concert in the park . When I start it to go home gage shows 0 psi . To me this sounds like a bad gage . Car runs very good .

    Sender wire(s).

I always go for the easiest fix first. Like Ed said, check the sender wire(s). While there, might as well give all the connectors a check. Those spade terminals tend to loosen on the engine after a long period.

Not likely. On my car the fuse that controls the oil pressure and voltmeter was the same one that had the tail lights, the idea being you would notice the gauges out and realize your tail lights were gone as well.

They don’t always look broken when they are. But if it’s not the fuse and it’s not the connections and it’s not the sender, then it’s gonna be the gauge.
I have a VDO one that works if you want.
