My speedometer quit working . One of my winter projects is to repair my speedometer . I understand that one of the more common problems is that a pin comes out where it attaches to the wheel and its a easy fix . Looking for you guys imput before I start.
Prob the easiest is to disconnect the cable at the Speedo. If you can turn the cable with your fingers, it is either broken or has become disconnected at the driver’s side grease cup. If you can’t easily spin the cable within it’s sheath, then it is probably good and your problem is in the Speedo.
Let’s hope your Speedo is ok.
