    @pmossberg

I’m gonna be kind of sporadic for the next couple weeks.

After this afternoon, my next stop will be here

Lauren is spending a semester at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Going down to visit. But before Brisbane, Lauren is meeting me in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix and V8 Supercars. 😀 If there are any GP fans out there, say the word and I’ll post a few pics when I am able.

    See you soon!

I’ve always loved the Grand Prix and would enjoy any pics of it you could post. Perhaps one of the Australian TDR owners will look you up. If I remember there are a couple of post from folks down under. Oh…it’s nearing fall there. newkitman2015-03-10 11:42:24

    Thanks guys.

In Brisbane it was 95 last Wednesday and 100 last Thursday. Temps should be closer to high 70’s or low 80’s in Melbourne.

Any TDr owners from AU…shoot me a pm.

My daughter spent a semester at the University of Adelaide.  Went down with there a month before she school started.  Flew in to Sydney and rented a camper van and drove down cost to Melbourne and the up to Adelaide.  Best vacation I have ever had.

Al….that’s awesome. Wish I had the time to do that.

I’m coming home Saturday March 21. Way to little time in Oz. But I needed to save vacation days for other stuff this year.

Paul, sounds like a fantastic trip. I’m sure you will enjoy it. I can’t wait for the GP season to start. I’ve been a fan since 1957 when Fangio made his epic drive in a Maserati at the Nurburgring (sp?).

Talking about Grand Prix, Carroll Shelby’s first race was in a MG.

Before he was 30, Carroll was one of the best drivers in the world.
His first-ever road race was in 1952, when he took a woefully underpowered British MG
to a race in Oklahoma, beating everyone in his engine class before destroying the vastly
superior Jaguar XK120 class above him. Needless to say, it was onwards and upwards
    from there.

Have a great trip.  I lived in Oz for six years and the people are phenomenal.  Just remember to look both ways before you cross the street.

Eventually I’ll put a bunch of pics on line and link to them from here. But meanwhile, I had to post these two cars.
