    Hi guys,,

    Newbie in Tucson AZ here. Just picked up the car over the weekend and love it. Two questions so far. Can the passenger footwell be made longer by cutting out the end and pushing it back about 3-4″?

    Secondly the fuel in the carb and in line fuel filter is boiling, on the point of vapor lock. I understand the engine has pre-heaters built into the pipework from the cylinder heads to the carb base. Could these be faulty>? can I block them off?  Any other ideas?

    Very impressed with the content and helpful people I have read on this forum so far.

    I’ve had vapor lock problems in the past . What I did was I moved the fuel filter away from the engine . I would think if the gas is boiling your to hot
