Hi!

  I have a MIGI on a 1970 vw chassis. My question on suspension is:  When you remove leaves from the VW front beam is it really necessary as many claim, to glue, weld or otherwise insert short pieces of spring to compensate for the leaves you have removed?  I have looked into the center support and the spindle arms and as far as I can see they are not necessary.
