I am trying to determine the year my kit was produced by Fiberfab International. My serial number is FM 1675. I was able to find some information that FM 2452 was purchased in 1986. It appears that the number portion of the serial number is a sequential number of the car kits that were produced. I found somewhere that the MGTD-R kit production began in 1977. If they had produced 2452 car kits by 1986, that would be about 272 per year and my car would be approximately a 1983 car, the year that FF Incorporated became FF International, as indicated on my serial number plate. Does this make sense? Does anyone have additional information regarding this to add?
