A few years ago a fellow from Nova Scotia drove his TF replica down for the Spring show in Carlisle, PA.  Any chance of seeing it there?

Alert  😳  Take a close look at that plastic tarp!  My car was heavily scratched by a used blue tarp which the well-intentioned delivery driver used to cover the car in transit.  When they get old, plastic tarps turn into sandpaper.  A car just sitting there with wind movement could result in scratches on all of the points of contact.

Just sayin.

Also, if your drive shaft has only one u-joint,  you need to add another.  The rubber mount at the forward end of the torque tube is probably in disrepair.  If so, they are available, but expensive.

Most people use the S10 rear and weld the Chevette mounts, etc. to it.  There is a Chevette forum and you can usually get an answer there.     http://members.boardhost.com/Vette_Man/

Not familiar with the Chevette rear suspension. If it uses leaf springs, then you should be able to swap anything that will physically fit. If the spring perches and overall width is compatible, go for it. Try to stay with comparable bolt pattern with the wheels. Get a rear with disc brakes if you can.

That grill shell looks pretty darn good under the circumstances. At least from this angle it does.

Well I tried to unfold my grille shell and beat it into something usable. I took shears and removed the right side top corner. With some duct tape it somewhat took shape. Still didn’t like it.
