Sorry you are having issues – I do know that you will need an adapter plate to use the 31 vs the 34 – I had one for a while but sold it or gave it away with the carb. You had mentioned that you could make the wider radiators fit by modifying the frame brackets. Your TD message said to see the manual on the left. Couldn’t find it.

If you want a waterproof boot for over the lamp socket, the distributor end of a spark plug wire will fit over it.
