Sounds like you are on your way to diagnosing the brake issues.

I’ve become the temporary caretaker of a Daytona MIGI TD built on a 1970 VW Beetle with a ’67 1500cc motor in it. I helped the owner trade a backhoe for it and now he wants to polish it up a bit and sell it.

Anyone else want to check out one of the great vintage racing weekends? I’ve been to Lime Rock the last three years and it’s a hoot. Even got to do a parade lap in Bridget last year. A bunch of the Speedster guys go as well. Saturday is usually the big day for the club but I went ahead and bought a full pass this year.

Allen, the search function for the website is on the right of the top toolbar, the magnifying glass on the burgundy background. The search function for the forums is on the “Forum” main page. Click Forums in the toolbar, and you’ll see a search box near top of page
