Taking this new project completely apart. I believe it’s a MG TD Replica Fiber Fab kit car on a VW…. Very excited to find this site and the assembly manual. Fiberglass is broken in spots, needs floor pans, missing nuts and bolts but runs and drives!

The London Roadster is a little smaller than my Fiber Fab car.

While backing out of its garage, my lady friend thought that she was too close to a parked car. She pulled forward and caught the rear bumper, bending it back. I’m told that it is an MG bumper, not a VW blade. Is Moss Motors the only shop in the USA that sells new replacement parts?

MGLondonRoadste started the topic Fuel filler tube on London Roadster in the forum General Discussion 2 years, 2 months ago
It seems that the fuel filler metal braided hose in my London Roadster with a side inlet is too small. Every time I try to fill the tank either with a pump nozzle at a gas station, or via a portable gas can, fuel flows back and spills on the side of the car, running board and ground. Has anyone else experienced this and have you changed it, and…[Read more]

Hi all, just purchased a ‘81 MG TD replica, built by Classic Roadsters. #013 of 250. 2.8l Ford V6, 4 speed, 9200 miles, real wire wheels, spotlight. Very nice clean car. Had been sitting for 8 years, had not been started. Filled the fuel bowl and it fired right up and idled perfectly. On the short ride home it started to get hot, shut it down a…[Read more]

About to finish painting my MG-TD fiberfab and am thinking about getting new tires. I know the stock 1969 bug sedan tire size is 165/80R 15 but I wonder if anyone has used a wider tire. Like a 205/65R 15 for better traction. Would this tire fit with the kit?

I have put in all new gauges and they all work. Generally the car is in really good shape. I also have a new top in the box.
