Anyone else want to go to the Carlisle Import Performance show as per Tradition? There’s still a few days to get your showfield pass at 20 percent off the sticker price. 

The lady who reserves our hotel rooms has not got back to me with a contract yet but told me we had 10 rooms plus the Hospitality Room as usual.

Of course, I will be there. I will, once again, tow the car out and leave it in the pavilion with the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

It looks like I am out this year. My wife is having surgery the week of the show so I will be helping her recover at home. It’s the least I can do since she helped me recover from my broken back. I’m fully recovered from that now.

I hope you guys have a great time and hopefully I will see you guys in October at VA Beach.

I will not be able to attend Carlisle this year and have a show field pass that I will donated to anyone interested in going.

OK everyone I’ve routed a nice pre-dinner cruise for Thursday to Grandpa’s Love Shack (same place as last year’s Friday run). Gonna step off from the hotel about 4:30 and do about an hour loop ending at the restaurant. It’ll be a short trip back to the hotel unless you want to go back the way we came.

Here’s the route.

Right now I’ve got me and Kelly, Paul and Glen, Bill A (who’ll need a ride…). Chime in if you plan to get to the Marriott Thursday afternoon.

Word is that the dune buggy guys are going to be around too.

As I will be towing my car to leave at the show field, I’ll have my Subaru to transport those who want to avoid any rain.
