I purchased this car with a bill of sale only. The prev owner got it from Florida and had a promise of paperwork from the seller to be given when he got it from DMV. That never happened and he got frustrated after dealing with NJ DMV with no luck. Now I sent all info required to them in my name and they are stonewalling me and say he needs to 1st get his title then sign over to me? They refused him too? Any help would be appreciated. I have no info or reciepts. Its a ford drivetrain with a vin on door jam thanks.
