I have a 1952 MG Replica with wire spoked wires. After driving for a short period of time, a squeaking sound comes from by wheels that is in unison with wheel rotation. My exhaust system is rusted and not properly installed on my car. So, I am looking to get a new exhaust for my VW based TD. I am not sure if the TD body makes it harder/impossible to install some systems that would normally fit on a beetle. So, I would like to know what y’all are running 🙂

The wheel Paul linked is a Flat4. Good stuff; I put one on my Spyder. Also looks not dissimilar to the original TD wheel.

There are many sources for VW banjo steering wheels. Just Google that phrase.
You should need an adaptor if your TDr has a VW steering column.
A word of caution, measure carefully. Most VW wheels are over 15 inch diameter. Make sure you have the lap and leg room.

I recently inherited a FiberFab 1952 MGTD, unfortunately the state of NY is requiring me to have SAE lenses on all the lights…the model currently has SAE lenses only on the headlights….all others are generic.
