    Hi, Looking at Ebay for new plug wires for my 1969 vw motor. I see both 7mm and 8mm. Is there any difference? Can I use 8mm?

    Original wires for your car were 7mm. 8mm wires came into play with the introduction of High Energy ignition systems. To answer your questions…Yes and yes.
