Hi,
My name’s Philip aka jollydoc! Around 1990 when l was in Hong Kong l saw and bought an Avallone. This is a fibre glass replica TDF. They were made by Carlos Avallone at his factory in Brazil. The fibre glass body was exrtraordinary being around 1/2 inch thick all over. (he gave people a large mallet and dared them to dent the car!!) The body was a good replica but the engines were basically whatever they could find locally in smashed up cars. Mine said GM and was 1400 cc but with an added very odd overhead cam. It roared and went like the wind. Sadly, however, when l took it in for extensive work, the garage owner was threatened by the local trids Hong Kong mafia) and l found it in pieces. Shipped it back to England where l gave it to a mechanic l had been introduced to. Amazingly the same thing sort of happened again. An upholstere disappeared with ?2000 of my money and the car was taken by another mechanic and then stored with athird who was in prison!!! After masses of effort l noew have it back and it is with an amazing (and very honest) restorer. The problem is that l am missing a radiator. The dimensions are 14″ top 11″ bottom and 20″ high. Can anyone help PLEASE! WE could fit a slightly smaller one in.

Some story! I hope all the bad luck is behind you!
I checked some USA resources and there are places to have custom sized radiators made. I’m sure searching “custom radiators” will turn up some sources in the UK.
Another possibility, armed with the dimensions, a really good auto parts guy/gal might be able to come up with a stock replacement radiator that would fit.
