    Hey all,

Today has been an excellent day. Things are going together on the TD really nicely and I got an email from a fellow in Warner Robins who has a black and white TD. He found me on the TDReplica site and PMd me. He lives on the other end of town and we met and discussed his TD. It’s a Duchess. No doubt about it. He bought it from someone in NC and it was originally red like Pauls TD.  Great guy who just retired from the base. Its nice having another TDer right near where we can discuss ideas and I can look at what he has and that will help me with mine. He loves to drive the TD and he also has 3 studebakers. Very nice studebakers. And the best part was what I call the “Taste of TD” because he let me drive it. Talk about wanting to get mine done and on the road. Wow what a blast.

Elza if you’re reading this, thanks man. Driving the TD really fueled the fire. Paul he said he registered in the site but I don’t see his entry in the Registry. I’ll have to call him and remind him to enter the particulars in the registry. Perhaps he’ll come to Carlisle. That’d be cool.

I talked to new member Sam Reynolds (sreynolds) on the phone today.  I mentioned to him that he ought to come to Carlisle also.

Me thinks he doth type an extra “c” and meant to say

…You guys be cruisin’ all the time come summer.

You may be correct. Only it sounds like we’re reverting to speaking like they did in Monty Python’s “Search For The Holy Grail”.

Sorry. doing taxes today and yesterday. did not proof-read here. I did proof my federal return. The state returns are already problematic though… Looks like I’ll be filing at least one amended return.

Ed, About the time you were born, I figured out that Federal Income Taxes should be done sometime after mid March and on such a nasty, rainy or otherwise miserable day that you can not possibly enjoy doing anything else (this idea was later incorporated into a NC state law).  The law reads that if it turns out that there are no nasty days and not enough time to do your 1040, then you must file an extension.  I have filed so many extensions that I’m sure that if I ever filed on time, I’d get audited.  What me worry?

Yep. Just nasty enough so I can just about stand it. Looking at the weekend weather forecast, Friday night after work I took Bridget to Lowes for a few bits. No cruise that night, it was in the low-mid 50s and clear.

Once I finish the taxes I can go out to the garage.
