Another one for sale

I just ran across a strange one for sale.  A Yugo powered one.  He put the water powered engine in the back, rear wheel drive, 5 speed.  Engine trans and all rolling chassie parts are from a 1999 (I think thats the year he said) Yugo.  Even the interior is from the Yugo.  I have only seen pictures of it so far.  He says it runs and has brakes but “No title” says he has lots of paperwork for it but bill of sale only.   Guess the best part is the price he’s only asking $1300.  I may try to go see it next week end,,,, if the wife wants to get away for the weekend.  It’s about a 4 hr drive away.   Can anyone ID the kit?

Yugo huh. Wonder if the powerplant is a bit lethargic. The kit looks to be a fiberfab but can’t be certain. Let us know what you find out.

Speaking of another one, Montie, as I left your place, I saw on the highway, another car that looked in the distance to be a TD or replica.  I couldn’t get too close to it, as it turned to go north, but I wonder if there is another owner near you?

 There’s a couple Gazzells running around real close and I did hear of another white TD someplace about 30 miles north.  So far I hav’t ran into him.
