    @rollie

    Any one know where to get replacement bumper guards for a 1980 fiber fab ? I thought they might be VW, but the ones I got were not the same, and too small. I think they were for a ’67 vw. Thanks, Rollie

    I didn’t have any with my FiberFab kit so I ordered the bumper guards (overriders) and seals from MG Magic. Check the pricelist on their website and then give them a call. They’re out on the other coast in San Diego.

    MG Magic

    $50 a piece, plus $9 for the rubber.

    Moss Motors

    $43 a piece, plus $4 for the rubber

    Gotta be one of the first tmes I’ve seen Moss be the cheaper alternative!

    My last replacements (Yes, I’ve had to replace them more than once) came from Moss Motors. Good quality and great fit.

    Thank you very much. Mine are very rusty on the back bumper. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.  Rollie

    Ford has a product called “Custom Bright Metal Cleaner”.

    This stuff cleans up rusty chrome like you wouldn’t believe.

    I think MG Magic must resell Moss stuff.
    Moss was also cheaper on a Mosom car cover.
    BTW: For chrome polish, we Brits swear by AutoSol. It’s German but you can still find it around (Ebay?)

    @kentt

    Not sure if they are separately priced at Moss Motors (too lazy to research.. 😉 ) but I know the rubber trim strips ARE separately priced at MG Magic.

    I bought the complete front/rear bumper kits from Moss (through a distributor) and they came complete with bumper face bars, flat backer bars, spacers that go between the backer bar and face bars, over-riders, rubber trim strips for overriders, front and rear curved bumper brackets, and the mounting bolts and washers…
    MG Magic appears to price each of these pieces separately…
