Monday, Ian McKinney, the 20 year old son of my partner, Chris, was involved in a
severe auto accident. He was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center where he currently
lies in a coma. The coma was not medically induced, he has shut down due to the trauma.
Please add him and his family to any prayer lists you may have. Feel free to forward this.Bill Ascheman

Just received an update on Ian’s condition, and althoughtthere is slight improvement, he has a long way to go.The life support tubes have been removed from his head. He’s breathing on his own and the feeding tube has beenplaced elsewhere. He cannot talk yet, but has opened his lefteye a couple of times and can stick out his toungue.A long road ahead.Again, thanks.Bill Ascheman

June 25, 2012 at 8:22 pm #250842Update:
The nurses had him vertical over the weekend. He could walk if held up by 2 people.
He still cannot speak but can mouth responses to questions. Apparently they inserted
some sort of tube in his throat.
Tomorrow he is being transported to a rehab facility in Philadelphia.
Progress…Thank you all.Bill Ascheman
