"Drive Happy"June 4, 2013 at 11:35 am #252767I thought that Jim did a great job on this video. So, I sent it to my son who spent many years living in Hawaii. His comments:
Very cool video….thanks. A bit of advice for your buds next year……..NEVER EVER tuck in a Hawaiian shirt.🙂July 8, 2013 at 8:33 pm #252768The “Centerfold” photo of August Kit car Builder was titled “The Wonderful World of Porsche Replicas”. It was taken at Carlisle this year. Flanking the Porches on left and right are the MG Replicars. I couldn’t get it below 1.2M. Below is link to photo, you probably have to cut and paste, get message Flickr doesn’t allow embedding within frames.

I got beat up for for saying this on the Speedster forum.
But I have friends who make their living from the written word (and written music). I’m a little sensitive to the copyright issue.PMOSSBERG2013-07-08 23:55:07

July 28, 2013 at 9:47 pm #252771I re-cut the Carlisle race vid. Next year we need to get driver’s seat shots of everyone in action.
edsnova2013-09-11 22:29:05September 11, 2013 at 6:20 pm #252772Ed, I had some company today and decided to show them just how great you were in the Autocross. I couldn’t get your link to load. ???
Also, Ed, I know that my car is faster than your’s (I think). And, I refuse to believe that you are a better driver than I am (though it is remotely possible). The only thing that I can figure out is the sun being in my eyes for about 1/2 of the race was a disadvantage.:lol:But, I do have a serious question: did you ever come out of second gear? Did you use 3rd?September 11, 2013 at 10:39 pm #252773Link fixed. Thanks for the head-up, Roy.
And no. No shifting. Probably over-revved though. Even 5k on that engine is overdoing it. That’d be about 45 mph in Bridget. -
