Not difficult at all — once you remove any sheet metal and/or body panels so you can get to it… you may also need to remove the exhaust/muffler, based upon what type you have.
If you use a pulley puller, be careful not to damage the threads on the end of the crank where that large bolt screws in to hold it on.
I’ve successfully removed them with two BIG screwdrivers. Put one on top and one on the bottom, pointed the opposite direction. Position each one so you can GENTLY pry with them. Then, by alternating pressure from one screwdriver to the other, GENTLY wiggle it off, a tiny bit at a time…
