Does anyone have a scan of the documentation that came with the Duchess steering wheel. When I got mine, it was only being held on with the single shaft column nut! I found the button, plate, spring and one small shoulder bolt on the floor. I think I have an idea of how it goes together but the two shoulder bolts, I don’t have. Fastenal says that they are 1/4-28 fine, but in a VW? And the local hardware thinks that they are 6.5mmx? anyone know what they are supposed to be?

Page 5 of Part 4 says “(note: See steering wheel assembly instruction in the steering wheel box)
I don’t see those instructions available for download on the site. Do the instruction include a packing list or item description to give specifications on the shoulder bolts? I only have one and took it in to get two more form a “bolt” supply house and they could not even tell me what I had in my hand. You know how some kit say packing list
1-wheel
1-horn plate
3-1/4″ x 1.00 shoulder bolts (what Fastenal thinks)August 23, 2013 at 9:52 am #257424Ooops.
I forget. I don’t have ready access to my assembly photo album. If I have the instructions, that’s where it will be.
But I believe these will help, especially the second one:
