Great shots, John, and that dog is the spitting image of mine; it’s just that mine isn’t too bright and I’m afraid he’d jump overboard if I took him for a spin.  And by the way–is that a genuine TD steering wheel?

I like the Flat 4 wheel a lot. It’s a very close match and bolts up nice and easy on a VW column.

Not 2 people in 10,000 would know it’s not a TD wheel.

What’s the diameter of the flat4 banjo?

Let me jump in and say that the rim of the Flat 4 wheel is quite small in diameter. Not beefy enough for me to feel that I had a good grip. Jack ended up putting an aftermarket leather lace thing on. (And Jack is not a big guy) I ended up buying a totally different wheel. Also, the Flat 4 was just enough bigger than “stock” TDr that my tonneau wouldn’t snap in place.
It is a pretty wheel though. And it seems well made.
