Finally Finished

Finally got the finishing touches done on the car. Re-did the dash in red

mahogany with matching steering wheel. New stereo system with video, the

rear speakers light up and pulse with the music. Really a fun little car and

sure gets lots of looks at the cruise-ins.

very nice, how long have you been working on it? and what condition was it in when you started. love the dash and the wheel. nice upholstery too. What is the drive train,chevette?

Thanks All…I’ve been working on the car since I got it, so a little over 2

months, the car is a factory built chevette, glad you love the wheel and dash,

as this has been the biggest part of the fix up, and I am quite proud of the

choice of color compared to the stock and the way it came out.

Currently I am edging the body, just to give it a more custom look. The car

was in fairly good shape when I found it, and it has been more of a R&R on

the mechanics and customization of the interior.

First car show will be coming this weekend, so we’ll see how she does.

It’s the 1.6L and yes with automatic trans, very comfortable car to drive.
