    Hi, Group,

Couldn’t get much done last year, but this one’s been a bit better timewise. Got most of the glass parts hung, and discovering just how poorly the scribe lines and drill marks are located on some of these parts, particularly the cowls and front fenders.

Really enjoying the build, but the grille-to-hood fit is beyond ridiculous. I noticed the same ill-fitting hood on other cars also. The curve of the hood on the passenger side is much sharper than the curve of the grille, and the result is an ugly gap that physically cannot close.

Have other original owner/builders done anything to remedy this production error? If so, what?

    Thanks and warmest regards,

    Jeff,

    Welcome back! 🙂

Didn’t have the hood problem on my Duchess. But….

Does the hood look like it was molded wrong? Or is it warped?
