Coming home from a little trip I put on my headlights and smelled  something like trouble, my headlight switch got a short and cooked the wires  my wife asked me if I was sure that this car was not made in England ??? I hot wired the headlights ..well we got home and now i have to rewire the lighting  wow what a good reason to add fog lights she agreed what a” great idea ”   Dan

    Dan,
Glad it wasn’t any worse. Because the wiring is the headlight circuit I wonder if now is the time to add a headlight relay. I know its only for the high beams but burning up a relay is better than burning up the wires and any associated wiring in the bundle. I’m sure you’ll check out the entire bundle for melted/shorting wires. Good luck and have fun rewiring.
