New (to me) engine in, new brake lines, new clutch cable, new battery, new flor insulation, new hoses, new all kinds of things that I’ve been poking at since 2005 when the original engine came out and life put it all on hold.

The past week has been an evening of lifting, jacking, grease, oil, fuel, scrapes, scars, and banging my knuckles, but the 3 mile drive to the grocery store in the cool maine evening has made it all worth it. My car was back on the road and the wind blowing through my very much thinned since 2005 hair.

    It’s a good day.

@edsnova Yes I do. I have the original London Roadster ones (wire) but there a bit rusted.

    …you have some for sale?

Yeah. Bridget’s old hubcaps are those rare no-logo style & have the correct MG TD center emblems—or 4 of them do. The spare has a larger BCW emblem. They’re old but in good shape. Since I went to wire wheels I think I ought to let them go. PM me if you’re interested.

    Stephen,

So happy to see you spending time on your TDr…and not spending all your time working on the TD website!

    Kudos!

Thanks for the wheel decorations @edsnova! They arrived in the post today.

They fit perfectly, as expected, and much sharper than the old rusted wire hubcaps I’ve had for 20+ years.
