    @mgaggie

    I bought some fog lights for my car, but am not too sure how I want to install them. On my car, the bar in front of the grill is too far forward to put them on the body, so I was thinking the would have to be mounted to the bar itself. Not sure how I will do that, but maybe a trip to Home Depot or some advice will give me some ideas.

    I also have no idea how I want to run the wires so they are less visible. If anyone has installed headlights, how did you run wires from the lights to the inside?

    Thanks,
    -S

    If you mount the lamps to the badge bar, drill a hole in the bar and route the wires through the bar and mounting bracket to the underside of the fender.

    The badge bar is a correct place to mount auxiliary lights on a TD. The Moss badge bar has mounting brackets for the fog and/or driving lights built in. There were several different types of TD badge bars, and you can see some had light brackets and some didn’t. The correct lights are made by Lucas.

    The originals are actually quite good. I can’t speak for the repros linked above; I bought a used pair years ago and mounted just one on my car, along with a relay for both it and the headlights.  The wiring disappears discretely behind the bumper.
