Nice write up Ed. – Wolfgang is looking for pic’s on the Speedster site as well – you might want to post your blog there as well.

Air & Auto Classic 3 attendees,
We'd like to thank you for attending this year's car show. Due to your
generosity and that of our sponsors, together we raised $8000 for the Virginia
Beach SPCA and the Foodbank of Southeastern VA! The first $4000 check was
presented to the Foodbank on 17 November at their Mayflower Marathon food drive
at Pembroke Mall. The second check was presented to the Virginia beach SPCA the
following Monday.
We had about 140 cars on the field and an estimated 300 spectator vehicles at
the show this year. A list of the car show awardees can be found here:
http://fst.pca.org/docs/Other/Air_Auto_3_Results.pdf
If you're a repeat attendee, you'll have noticed that we had a few additions,
like the FTW motorcycle show and some vendors. We also added a non-judged car
corral, which really filled up the field. In fact, we were maxed out with the
space we had allocated. There's plenty untapped area on the airfield grounds,
so we'll shift things around next year to accommodate more vehicles.
At the end of each show, we always ask for comments and suggestions from our
attendees. What did you like, what not so much? What could we do different to
attract more attendees (particularly domestic car owners)? We've made changes
the last two years based on your suggestions, so please pass any ideas or
comments you may have; just reply to this email.
We'll be establishing next year's date soon, so stay tuned and ready to mark
your 2013 calendar for Air & Auto Classic 4.
Thanks again for supporting the Foodbank of Southeastern VA and the Virginia
Beach SPCA. We hope to see you again next year.
Sincerely,
Your Air & Auto Classic Team
