Dick, With your special suspension,I’m not sure if they used VW brakes or something from the aftermarket . I searched ATE Brakes on the web and found numerous sources ,so they must still be in business.Gook luck finding the type for your car.You may have to take them off and match something up.

So far I have found out that there are only 2 different ATE caliper’s that VW used that are 2 pin. One takes a 60mm pad the other takes a 55mm pad. (width) I take the 55mm. Getting close now.
Try airhead parts for the calipers. The calipers on my 74 Ghia are the same (2 pin – 55mm pads). I got mine from them when they were just Karmann Ghia Parts and Restorations. Good, high qualiter parts.
