I’ve put up with slow fuel fill for over 30 years. I’ve finally gotten around to addressing that. At the same time I will be installing rollover protection.

That 90* bend made it impossible to fill the tank quickly. Fuel would often splash back and spill on the body.

This unit has a spring loaded cover on it’s base.

New location for filler neck.

If you’re interested in what is inside the tank…it simply has a plate with a small space at each end. This is the only baffling.

One more piece of hose and project should be finished. I’m actually looking forward to buying gas.
