    Ed,

    I hope to be there – you inviting any of the speedster folks or making it a TD

    only event?

    @edsnova

    I was hoping for the TD crowd only on this one–just for effect. But if anyone down your way–Wolfgang’s almost done right? Cory? Bruce?–wanted to crash this party I’d sure love the company.

    Right now we’re looking at three cars: me, Wobby(!!) and Greg, who lives almost there. You’d make four, and a couple of speedsters would be a hoot. I know Stoney would love it.

    Man I wish my freakin’ car was in my hands and not in the future ex’s garage!

    We WILL have to repeat this event in the future!

    Ed,

    You might want to invite Cory and others if you want them to tag along on

    our jaunt – but they need to drive in the back – right? He He

    Anyway – Greg might come w/ me – his ride is still not done. Hopefully soon

    as he is now retired about 1 week. I may flat tow if it is a crazy hot day – last

    3 hour drive in the heat about did me in and that is a long drive for me.

    But having someone break in to the “marital residence” might prove to be a problem further on down the road!

    Thanks.

    It does mean a lot. I’ve got a great support circle, in person, and on-line. The process still stinks tho.

    But someday it will be done and we can both move on.

    @edsnova

    OK, back on topic:

    I have buy-in from Greg, Wobby the Magnificent and, possibly, Schu, who has asked for an early dinner since he has some major driving to get there & back.

    I think we should meet at Winterthur at about 3:30 for a drive about the valley and get to the restaurant by about 4:15. I’ve got what I think is  nice route mapped out–Greg, I’ll be PM-ing you with the directions for your approval/editing.

    Meantime, I’d also like any who are interested to consider attending the 32nd MGs on the Rocks, at Rocks State Park, about 20 miles north of my house. My current plan is to get there by 11, hang out until 2 or so, and then drive RT 1 to our DuPont estate rendezvous. Post Road is not bad at all in that area, and every TD ought to traverse the Conawingo Dam at least once in its life.

    Schu, if you wanted to flat tow to my place and caravan the rest of the way, I’d be very psyched for that. Or even if you wanted to drag the TD all the way to Delaware, but with a second TD escort. I’m sure we could find a place to stash your truck; Brandywine State Park might work if you’re willing to shell out $6 for the priviledge.

    Richard, you could park your camper in my driveway if you want.

    And Greg–it’s a bit of a back and forth for you, but as a former TD owner, I know you’d dig the Rocks show, and I bet the folks there would get a kick out of our imposters.

    I think spectating. I believe spectators get in free, or maybe it’s $3 to park. We put our cars in with the Toyotas and Durrangos and freak everyone out. Entering the MG competition is like $20 and I don’t think we stand a chance anyway.

    Be sure and take lots of pics with commentary and post them so those of us in a galaxy far far away can at least see what we missed out on.

    Ed,

    Right now I am thinking of flat towing to your house and then driving around

    from there w/ the TD. Since I would be flat towing the early dinner time is

    not that big a deal. The MG show sounds like like fun as well – just email me

    w/ your address and time I need to be at your house. I think Greg will be

    coming as well the last time I spoke to him.
