Your VIN number looks like it is titled as a VW Beetle. If that’s the case, it will be very difficult to legally title and register in most states.

The VIN may not be a problem. The more critical info is what the Title says.

When I titled and registered my VW based TD, New Jersey DMV transferred the VIN form the VW to the newly titled “reconstructed vehicle” because the car used the complete chassis from the donor car. Thsi may not be the case when  kit uses a chassis fromteh kit manufacturer and suspension/drive train components from the donor car.

My Title has the VW VIN and “Reconstructed” as the make.
