    @hurricane5871

    I recently was given this car by my in-laws. It belongs to my father-in-law who received it as a Christmas gift in the 80s. I don’t think he enjoyed it too much and was never very curious about it. All I know, it’s a 72 VW.

    I plan on keeping it and getting it drivable again.

    I’ve read through some of the different kit manufactures clues, but I’m still stumped. I’m leaning towards a Daytona Migi. I think what throws me for a loop, if the original builder had one of those kits, why do I have these tube bumpers and no fog lights?

    Thanks

    @edsnova

    Short grill was a MiGi feature but I don’t know if they were molded in like that.

    Fog lights are always optional. TD bumpers can also be had.

    I have an early FiberFab Migi and the grill is molded into the front pan as is the one in your photo. It  is body color, not chrome, again, as yours.   The seat buckets are also identical to my MiGi.   Dennis P.
