Not a TD either but worth a click, I think.

July 14, 2015 at 9:54 pm #265145Thanks for that Ed. Makes me want to hit the road in my TDr now. Alas…Moneypenny is still in the making. Getting back to her as soon as the temps drop below 100 with 108 – 110 heat index. To hot to be outside.

July 15, 2015 at 11:58 am #265149Fiberfab makes the Avanti kit. Do you think they would make a kit like the 59 Testarosa? That’d be way cool if someone actually made a kit for one. Shoot…I’d buy a kit like that!

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackJuly 15, 2015 at 12:38 pm #265150Hi guys
We are a group of people that may well be able to somewhat understand what it took to complete this car. Our cars came as whole entities or as a kit of parts. This guy had to make/find/modify parts as required, an incredible task to undertake for anyone. His biggest break in my opinion was finding the body in Italy. That alone brings him closer to what we do or are doing. The car he built simply looks stunning from any angle. The music the exhaust pipes make brings a smile to any gearhead.
I have had first hand experience of driving one of the original Testa Rossas and can vouch for the fact that it is quite an experience. It was once part of my daily duties to drive such things on a daily basis. Those days were some highlights of my working life. Ones I shall never forget.
Regards John the Brit.
